Honoring Stuart Marwell
The Humanitarian Award Dinner is the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester’s signature event providing 25% to 30% of our annual budget for services to our kids and their families. It features a cocktail reception, plated dinner, and live and silent auctions. A tribute journal with our children’s art is distributed that evening and an online auction precedes the event.
The Humanitarian Award honors an individual for outstanding support of the Boys & Girls Club. It is presented for selfless contributions which have made a difference in children’s lives and the community’s future. This year, we are proud to honor Stuart Marwell, a former Club member and a member of our Board of Directors for more than 27 years. Marwell is also president and CEO of Curtis Instruments – a global EV instrumentation and control system technology company based in Mount Kisco – and is involved with a suite of other local non-profits and organizations.
The John Beach Award, also presented that evening, honors an individual, business, or other entity for outstanding support of the Boys & Girls Club. It will be presented to the Lexus of Mt. Kisco Team for generously donating the use of their showroom and service area for our Humanitarian Award dinner for the fifth year in a row.
Because we are celebrating the Club’s 75th Anniversary, the event will highlight our alumni as well as our current members and will include a “trip down memory lane.”
