Great futures start here. Our annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner is the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester’s largest fundraising effort of the year. Proceeds from the dinner provide Club scholarships to those youth most at risk, as well as funding for program in character and leadership development, academic support, physical fitness, swimming, nutrition, arts and career training. Over 500 kids visit the Club each day to participate in these life changing programs. In addition, each year the Club serves over 60,000 free meals to Club members. Please help us continue to provide these services to our kids and sponsor, donate or attend!
Our honorees. Each year BGCNW honors two individuals or organizations for outstanding support of Club. This year, the Club is proud to present the Humanitarian Award to local restaurateur and philanthropist Leslie Lampert of Love Hospitality, who, along with her team from Ladle of Love, serves nutritious meals to our kids at the Club each day. The Club is also honored to present the John Beach Award to BGCNW Aquatics Director and former Club kid, Dennis Munson, who, during his 48-year tenure at the Club, has helped teach over 47,000 kids how to swim.
The Humanitarian Awards Dinner will feature a cocktail reception, plated dinner, live and silent auctions, as well as a live band and lots of fun! A tribute journal with our children’s art is distributed that evening and an online auction precedes the event.
This year’s Dinner Committee leadership includes Event Co-Chairs Lisa Shrewsberry (Sponsorship and Tickets), Lee Manning-Vogelstein (Journal), and Linda Mahon (Auction).
Check back soon to find out the opening date of our online auction.

The Boys & Girls Club of Northern
Westchester is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The Club provides supervised recreation, physical
instruction, educational programs (including STEM and homework assistance programs), cultural programs and social
programs for youth, ages 3 to 18 years, throughout Westchester County. More than 75
years ago, a dozen children
stepped through the doors of our first clubhouse in Mount Kisco. Over
the years, more than 100,000 area youth followed those first members,
and today we continue to serve 1,200 youth annually, providing hope
and opportunity and a chance to BE GREAT.
